OH... MY... GOD!!!

This is the most incredible roller coaster in the entire universe! There is airtime over every single hill, and you are out of your seat more than you are in it! I never thought that a single coaster could capture my heart like this one did, and I haven't been the same since I've ridden it. Coaster enthusiasts have been raving about this coaster for 2 years now and I never believed something could be this good. A few friends of mine have created a "cult" following for the coaster called C.O.S.T. (The Church of Shivering Timbers), which I am proud to say I am a "member" of. :)
Michigan's Adventure really has a gem on their property and they know it. They love Shivering Timbers fans, and they treat us very well. This year they held an event for coaster enthusiasts called Timbers Fest which we enjoyed fully. We even stayed the day after to enjoy the park and its' prize posession.
One great thing about Timbers Fest was the "photo walkback". 2 or 3 maintenance workers escorted a group of us behind the scenes where guests are not allowed so we could take pictures. This is where I got most of the pictures on this page. I also got some cool video from the walkback and hopefully I'll have it edited and available by Christmas. Oh, and because this is such a beautiful coaster, I did take a lot of pictures of it, so this page might load slower than most of my other ones. But it's worth it!!!
Anyway, Geoff and I had a really great time at Timbers Fest. We got to have an awesome time with incredible people at a wonderful park. And before I forget...
Thank you, thank you, thank you Michigan's Adventure!!!
P.S. The above picture makes a GREAT computer wallpaper. Click here for a 800x600 version. Enjoy!

Shivering Timbers' entrance and gigantic lift hill.

Can you believe the SIZE of this thing??

A neat picture from the walkback of the train coming over the 3rd hill.

This is what you see when you're ready to plunge into ecstasy.

The coaster is SO long, you can't hear it enter the turnaround from the station.

The train heads over another hill.

You can see the double-up element from this shot.

The train exits the turnaround.

This is the view you'll see as you enter MiAd's parking lot. Breathtaking!!!
